The Rumi motorcycle project involved resurrecting a severely worn bike from the 1950s or 1960s. This extensive restoration process included dismantling the entire motorcycle, meticulously restoring each component, and engaging in chrome plating and polishing to bring the bike’s aesthetic back to life. Key to this project was the engine and gearbox restoration, where original parts were sourced wherever possible. In cases where parts could not be found, we used old photographs to reverse engineer and re-manufacture them, ensuring each piece met our stringent standards for quality and historical accuracy.
